Northwest Territory picked up a win at Beaver Town, bumping off the Redwood Rhinos, 8-3. Pitcher Allen Owen was a major reason the Beavers emerged victorious. The winner was Owen. He threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was George Ringo. Jay Keirl got credit for the save for Northwest Territory. It was his 1st of the year.

Early in the game, second baseman Ramón Yan had a bases-clearing double for Northwest Territory. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Beavers on top, 3-0.

"Allen was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker.

Now 13-4, the 2062 Beavers have been sensational so far.
