Rhinos Pick Up 5-4 Win Against Germantown
|
The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque, knocking off the Germantown Uruguayans, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jamie Dyke played a key role in the triumph. Redwood now has a record of 10-7.
Redwood used the timely hitting of Joe Hall to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Jamie is a tough competitor," said Redwood manager Robby Long.
