The Kennesaw Jets had to weather a strong performance from South Beach pitcher Dani Rodríguez before claiming a 3-2 win in 10 innings. Rodríguez went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Kennesaw reliever Ronald Montés picked up the win, raising his record to 1-3. Manny Sexton was tagged with the loss. Kennesaw, at 40-44, occupies 6th place in the Premier A.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Kennesaw. That's when John Curry, who is tied for 3rd in the PA in bases on balls with 38, hit a run-scoring double off Manny Sexton to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Curry said.
