Crawdads Earn 6-5 Win Versus Commodores
|
Though he had a stellar game, Choong-suk Yun could not prevent his team, the Put-In-Bay Commodores, from losing, 6-5, to the Cut Off Crawdads. Yun was 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Carl Roy closed the door for Cut Off, picking up his 16th save of the year. The Cut Off win streak is now 3 games.
The Crawdads beat the Commodores with some clutch hitting. The single by Héctor Avilés in the top of the ninth is a good example. With two down, Avilés gave his team the lead, 6-5, when he came through with the big hit.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Avilés said after the game.
