The Germantown Uruguayans picked up a win at The Target, knocking off the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 6-3. Starting pitcher Javier Barrego was a big reason why. Germantown is now 6-11.

Germantown used a well-timed hit by Bailey Sharp to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Uruguayans ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We took home the win," said Barrego. "What's not to like?"
