The Kennesaw Jets picked up a win at The Ballpark on the Beach, dropping the South Beach Blaze, 4-2. Steven Ross, who is tied for 4th in the PA in complete games with 2, was the difference-maker. Picking up the save was David Arnold, his 15th. Kennesaw, now 42-43, holds down 4th place in the Premier A.
Phil Thomas, who is tied for 10th in the PA in triples with 3, helped out the Kennesaw cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Kennesaw manager Roberto Ríos.
