Thanks in large part to second baseman Claudio Muñóz, the Hicksville Hounds beat the Redwood Rhinos, 7-4. Muñóz was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Hicksville goes to 9-9.

Muñóz contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Hicksville in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Muñóz took a fastball from Edgar Liriano and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Hounds to leap in front, 3-2.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Muñóz told the Hicksville Gazette.
