The Northwest Territory Beavers took Pedro Corona's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Beaver Town. The final score had Northwest Territory getting past the Rhinos, 3-2, in 10 innings. Corona over 7 innings allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 7. At 14-4, the 2062 Beavers have been excellent so far.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Northwest Territory left fielder Kelsey Verbiest, facing Florian Umstaedter, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Beavers the 3-2 win.

Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
