The Fort Knox Centennial got a hard-earned win over the Crowley Cajuns, 6-3, in 10 innings. Masujiro Hashimoto provided some offensive muscle for Fort Knox. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win belonged to Jack Jones in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Earl Alaniz took the loss for Crowley. With the loss, Crowley drops to 7-11.

Hashimoto had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Earl Alaniz, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Centennial a 5-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Hashimoto.

"It was terrific getting this win," Hashimoto said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
