Tulsa turned a good performance from starting pitcher Helmer Carlsson into a 4-2 triumph over the Hudsonville Flanderses in 10 innings at Hudsonville Park. Tulsa reliever Ramón Escobar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tony Valera took the loss. Tomoyuki Sasaki earned the save for Tulsa, his 1st of the year.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Keith Henley? The 20-year old left fielder Henley stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put Tulsa up, 4-2. For the game, he was 2 for 2, including 1 double and 1 single.

"I'm happy we won," said Carlsson. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."

With the win, Tulsa lifts its record to 6-12.
