The Put-In-Bay Commodores spoiled a good performance by Cut Off left fielder José Marrero, bumping off Cut Off, 6-5, at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. Marrero was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. The loss makes Cut Off 41-45.

Choong-suk Yun's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 4-4. The Put-In-Bay second baseman hit a 2-run single off Rich Griffin to put the Commodores up.

"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Yun. "And vice-versa."
