The Kennesaw Jets tallied a win at Put-In-Bay Ballpark, throttling the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 2-1. Starting pitcher Mario García was a big reason for his team's success. Kennesaw reliever Trent Harris picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jay Keirl took the loss. Gerardo Chávez finished the game for Kennesaw and earned his 3rd save.

Kennesaw used the timely hitting of Graham Crowle to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Jets on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Crowle.

The 8th-place Jets lifted their record to 40-47.
