Commodores Rally Late to Clip Eugene
Morgan Reynolds led Put-In-Bay to a triumph over Eugene. The final score was 7-6. The third baseman went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 3 RBI. The winner was Eric Dalton in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Jeff Rodríguez took the loss. After today's action, Put-In-Bay sits at 44-43, while Eugene falls to 45-42.

The Commodores were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 22-year old right fielder José Cabrera landed a big blow. He turned a 1-1 fastball from Jeff Rodríguez into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Put-In-Bay Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the Commodores home with a thrilling 7-6 win.
