The Cajuns grabbed a win, 5-4, at Titans Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Hudsonville pitcher Fa-tang Xiong. Xiong went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Robbie Kuhn picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Michael Elkins suffered the loss. The Cajuns saw their win-loss record go to 11-9. At the same time, the Flanderses fell to 10-10.

Had Tom Cooper not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Cooper hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Cajuns.

"We did enough to win," said Cooper.
