Clint Ellis could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Redwood Rhinos lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Shady Side Zoomies at The Zoo. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Humphrey Weegerink. Shady Side now sports a record of 11-9.

Ramiro Ramírez's at-bat with two out in the top of the ninth was critical. The Shady Side left fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to put his team on top, 1-0. Runs were at a premium and this one was huge.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Ramírez said.
