Streaking Crawdads Win Another One, 5-2
|
The Alaskan Bush Pilots and Cut Off Crawdads left the fans buzzing.
Cut Off starter Brandon Whitney pitched well against the Alaskan Bush Pilots at Crawdads Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. The winner was Whitney. He threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Pedro De Jesús. Bruce Cunningham closed the game out for Cut Off, earning his 21st save.
James Lee delivered a 3-run home run for Cut Off in the bottom of the seventh. The right fielder went 3 for 4 in the game, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
