Bush Pilots Prevail, 4-3, Over Put-In-Bay
|
The Alaskan Bush Pilots weathered a fine game by Put-In-Bay first baseman Rusty Howell to upend the Commodores, 4-3, at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. Howell was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Bush Pilots go to 36-55 with the win.
Bryce Green aided the Alaskan cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher went 1-3 with a hit by pitch.
Green attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
