Crossbeaus Get Clutch Win Versus Fort Knox
The Beaumont Crossbeaus defeated the Fort Knox Centennial, 6-5, in 10 innings. Bob McGinnity, who leads the PA- in triples with 2, played a big role. McGinnity went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Crossbeaus in the win. The triumph makes Beaumont 7-14.

The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the tenth, with no one out, McGinnity reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run. It gave Beaumont the 6-5 walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," McGinnity said.
