The Germantown Uruguayans powered past the Crowley Cajuns, 8-4, at Titans Ballpark. Rafael Valentín provided some of the pop. Mongoose was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Kinzo Yamauchi picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Ryan Hall was tagged with the loss. The Cajuns, at 5-16, have lost 7 straight games.

Germantown used the clutch hitting of Yoshinori Murakami to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Uruguayans the lead, 5-4. For the game, Murakami had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.
