Behind the bravura of third baseman Bing-zhang Fan, the Newmarket Rogues topped the Cut Off Crawdads by the score of 6-3. Fan was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Rogues. Newmarket pitcher Jerry Anderson got the win. He's now 6-2. Spike Cornett was tagged with the loss. Tae-kyun Hong earned the save, his 4th in 5 tries.

With Newmarket leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Fan hit a curveball from Spike Cornett for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Rogues ahead, 4-0.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Fan told the Newmarket Daily News.

The Rogues raised their record to 41-50.
