George Jenkins knocked in 3 runs to help Tulsa beat Hudsonville, 7-6. Jenkins produced 1 single and 2 home runs. Reliever Jian-ying Chua picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. José Morales took the loss. Lawrence Bailey sewed up the save, his 1st.

Keith Henley provided a timely hit. The Tulsa pinch hitter delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Otters on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Tulsa manager Bob Grzelak.

Tulsa is 11-10 and Hudsonville, with the loss, 12-9.
