Red-Hot Beavers Win Again
The Northwest Territory Beavers went home winners at Hound Pound, thanks in large part to starter Lars Ketting. Ketting stifled the Hicksville Hounds, enabling Northwest Territory to grab the 3-1 win. In 7 innings, Ketting surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The 6th-place Hounds have lost 4 straight games.

Northwest Territory used the timely hitting of John Wallace to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beavers on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
