Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Mauro Moreno, who is tied for 5th in the PA- in bases on balls with 11, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Northwest Territory Beavers, 4-1. Jerry Creichton got credit for the save for Plattsburgh. It was his 2nd of the year. The losses continue to mount for Northwest Territory, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

Plattsburgh took a 3-1 lead on Moreno's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off José Rodríguez in the top of the sixth, propelled Plattsburgh to the win.

"We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves," said Northwest Territory skipper Robert Acker. "Wouldn't do any good."
