Trujillo Swings Flamingos to 11-5 Win
The Las Vegas Flamingos knocked off the Memphis Mockingbirds, 11-5, in United States Silver League action at The Strip. Las Vegas designated hitter and Bluffdale, Utah, native Rafael Trujillo had an outstanding performance. The winner in relief was Miguel Hernández. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-2. The Flamingos win now puts them at 13-12.

Michaelsoft Binbows, who is tied for 9th in the SL in triples with 1, aided the Las Vegas cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.

"We hit the ball hard," said Las Vegas manager Tom Williams. "Line drive after line drive."
