Due in large part to third baseman James Hunt, the Tijuana Toros sunk the Hudsonville Flanderses, 5-4. Hunt went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Yin-reng Guo earned the save, his 3rd, for the Toros. Tijuana now sports a record of 9-13.

Jeff Godfrey drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate against the Flanderses. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Tijuana in front, 5-4.

Godfrey told a Tijuana Gazette reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
