Down to Defeat Goes Plattsburgh, 8-5
|
Glenn Olson was instrumental in his team's 8-5 triumph over the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. The second baseman went 1-2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Tulsa Otters. Dudley Farrell recorded his 1st save for Tulsa. Plattsburgh has now lost 4 consecutive games.
With Tulsa trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Olson hit a curveball from George Hill for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Otters ahead, 6-4.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Olson.
