Solís Lifts Crawdads to 7-2 Win
The exploits of right fielder Luis Solís, who is tied for 5th in the PA in stolen bases with 12, helped the Cut Off Crawdads defeat the Kennesaw Jets, 7-2. Solís was 2-4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Cut Off reliever David Anderson picked up the win to move to 3-1. John Baker suffered the loss. The defeat makes Kennesaw 51-42.

Cut Off took the lead on Solís's 13th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against John Baker in the top of the sixth, made the score 3-2, Cut Off.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Cut Off skipper Miguel Aguilar.
