The Shell was the site of an exciting ballgame between the South Beach Blaze and Huntington Hermit Crabs.

In a tight tilt between the South Beach Blaze and the Huntington Hermit Crabs, Ron Haley was the deciding factor. The South Beach right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Floyd Schultz earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 4-0.
