Blaze Collect 5-2 Win Over Gallos

Fans who congregated at The Cage were treated to extra-inning drama.
The Delmarva Gallos could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Adrian Goff into a win. Instead, the South Beach Blaze prevailed, 5-2, in 10 innings. Goff threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The Blaze, at 55-38, lead by one game in their division.
South Beach needed the clutch hitting of Logan Unicume to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blaze on top, 5-2. For the game, Unicume had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Unicume. "It eases the tension."
