Bullard 4-for-5 in Shady Side Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 20-year old center fielder Pete Bullard, the Shady Side Zoomies stopped the Northwest Territory Beavers, 6-1, in 9 innings. Xaavier Clemons, who is tied for 7th in the PA- in strikeouts with 26, was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Culley Porterfield. Måns Goos earned the save, his 1st.

With Shady Side leading 1-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Bullard batted against Northwest Territory pitcher Culley Porterfield. Bullard hit a fastball to left-center for a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season put the Zoomies on top, 2-0.

In comments to the Shady Side Times, Bullard insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.

Shady Side is now 14-10, Northwest Territory 8-16.
