Another day, another victory for the red-hot Germantown Uruguayans.

Germantown pitcher Roberto Valdéz had a large part in his team subduing the Hicksville Hounds, 6-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Germantown currently is in 4th place in the Premier Low A at 14-10.

The Uruguayans got a lift from left fielder Rafael Valentín, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Uruguayans on top, 5-1.

"Eventually, the carousel ride will end," said Valdéz. "But for now, we'll do our best to enjoy it."
