Due in large part to designated hitter Mike White, the Lake Erie Arryns sunk the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, 6-5. White went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Dale Allen earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record is now 3-2. Raúl Guzmán got credit for the save for Lake Erie. It was his 7th of the year.

Ignacio Galló came through with a big-time hit for Lake Erie. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Winning is always a team effort," White said after the game.

The loss makes Smoky Mountain 40-55.
