Arryns Win 8-6 Walk-Off

The Lake Erie Arryns defeated the Grim Reapers, 8-6. Right Fielder Efren Agpalasin deserved a large share of the credit. Agpalasin was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Arryns. Nick Watson was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-2. The losing pitcher was Andrew Shirley. The Arryns improved their record to 55-40 by beating Grim.
The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Lake Erie trailing 6-5, Agpalasin jumped on a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Andrew Shirley and hit a 3-run home run to right. With one swing, the Arryns had a walk-off win.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Agpalasin.
