Music Suffer One-Run Loss at Hicksville
The Hicksville Hounds knocked off the Memphis Music, 4-3, in USPL Low A action at Hound Pound. Hicksville pitcher and Cutlerville, Michigan, native Jeff LaPierre had an outstanding performance. Héctor Hernández recorded his 12th save for Hicksville. Hicksville raised its record to 15-10 with the win.

Hicksville catcher Alfonso Martínez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 24th hit of the season and put the Hounds ahead, 4-2.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," LaPierre told the Hicksville Daily News.
