The Tijuana Toros used a great performance from Charles Reeves, who is tied for 6th in the PA- in strikeouts with 32, to beat the Germantown Uruguayans, 1-0, at Toros Ballpark. Tijuana reliever Culley Porterfield was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Ronald Montés. The Toros now own a record of 12-14.

The Toros got a clutch hit from left fielder Kikaku Kikuchi. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Toros.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Kikuchi. "But we got it done."
