Hounds Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rhinos
Fans who congregated at The Zoo were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Hicksville Hounds topped the Redwood Rhinos, 5-3, in 11 innings at The Zoo. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hicksville pitcher Mick Ditka. Hicksville now sports a record of 15-11.

Hicksville used a timely hit from Joren Pelikaan to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Hounds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"There's no quit in this team," said Hounds manager Art Manning.
