Liberty U-21 Win, 3-2, Over Hudsonville
The Philadelphia Liberty U-21 eked out a 3-2 win versus the Hudsonville Flanderses at Hudsonville Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Pedro Mejía. He was terrific. The Liberty U-21 have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Philadelphia used a clutch hit from Gunnar Ellis to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Liberty U-21 ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We take it day by day here," said Ellis, "and today was a good one for us."
