Hounds Earn 4-3 Home Win
|
Memphis right fielder Aaron Stanbra had a good game, even if his team did not. The Music dropped a 4-3 decision to Hicksville at Hound Pound. Stanbra went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The victory gives Hicksville a record of 16-10.
Had Jerry Knight not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Knight hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Hounds.
"I felt good up there," said Knight. "I saw the ball well."
