Late Rally Earns Northwest Territory 6-4 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Fort Knox Centennial and Northwest Territory Beavers get after it.

The Northwest Territory Beavers had to overcome a fine effort from Fort Knox pitcher Monty Weaver to win, 6-4, at Beaver Town. Weaver went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Greg Thomas picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Adam Weijman suffered the loss.

The Beavers got a big hit from shortstop Ron Gilbert. In the bottom of the eighth, Gilbert smacked a 2-run double off Fort Knox pitcher Adam Weijman. It was his 6th double of the season. Suddenly, the Beavers were ahead, 5-4.

Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker called it "a good, solid win."

Northwest Territory sits in 9th place in the Premier Low A at 10-17.
