The Redwood Rhinos locked up a win at The Zoo, knocking off the Crowley Cajuns, 3-2. On the mound for Redwood was left-hander Javier Reza. He played a major role in the triumph. The loss makes Crowley 16-11.

In the bottom of the second, Redwood right fielder César Velásquez whacked a splitter to right for a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season put the Rhinos in front, 2-0.

"Every loss stings," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace. "This one is no exception."
