Bobby Gross had an answer for everything the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 threw at him at Hudsonville Park. The Hudsonville center fielder went 6-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Flanderses a win, 16-0.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Gross said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
