Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Uruguayans
The Germantown Uruguayans picked up a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque, downing the Fort Knox Centennial, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for Germantown was left-hander Carlos Ramos, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win went to Ronald Montés in relief, making him now 2-2. Adam Weijman took the loss for Fort Knox. The third-place Centennial have lost 5 straight games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Germantown third baseman Ngati Tuilagi, facing Adam Weijman, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Uruguayans the 5-4 win.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Fort Knox manager Michael Malloy.
