Crowley Cajuns starter Yuan Chia was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Northwest Territory Beavers, 4-0. With the win, Crowley upped its record to 17-11.

The Cajuns got a big at-bat from left fielder Sergio Reyes. For the game, Reyes was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Crowley a 1-0 lead.

"Yuan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace.
