Hicksville picked up a win at Hound Pound, bumping off the Flint Crush, 4-3. Pitcher Zander Daig was a major reason the Hounds emerged victorious. Tony Hurtado notched his 1st save of the season. The Hounds sit in 7th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 15-15.

The Hounds got a big boost from center fielder Preston Wilson who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Crush hurler Clarence Butler. It was his 5th walk of the season and put Hicksville on top, 1-0.

"Good win," said Daig. "Maybe some of the whiners in the clubhouse will pipe down for a little while now."
