Matt Nance was a major contributor to the 6-1 Flint win over Redwood. The Crush center fielder was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Flint is in 4th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 17-14.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Nance hit a 3-run home run off Declan Phelps. It propelled the Crush into the lead, 3-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Redwood manager Robby Long.
