Uruguayans Upend Otters, 5-0
|
Maxence Pillet had a strong outing for the Germantown Uruguayans against the Tulsa Otters at Ballpark of Hughesville. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-0 win. The win gives Germantown a season record of 20-11.
Hsin-ta Sun had a big 2-run home run for the Uruguayans in the top of the fourth inning. With Germantown leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Dave Poole, who is tied for 6th in the PA- in wins with 3, and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Uruguayans ahead, 3-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Sun.
