No one was more impactful than Gabel Bouwman in the 5-4 Memphis win over Hudsonville. Bouwman went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Yuri Werkman picked up his 5th save of the season. The 8th-place Music have won 4 straight.
With Memphis leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Bouwman hit a slider from Bob Scott for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Music ahead, 3-0.
"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Bouwman told the Memphis Today.
