Uruguayans Fall, 3-1, to Tulsa

The Tulsa Otters earned a close win over the Germantown Uruguayans, thanks in part to Guy Pritchard. The Tulsa right-hander played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Pritchard, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Jian-ying Chua picked up his 1st save of the season.
George Jenkins dealt the Uruguayans a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Tulsa leading 1-0, Jenkins, who is tied for 9th in the PA- in doubles with 7, hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Pritchard.
The first-place Uruguayans now sit at 20-12.
