The Northwest Territory Beavers and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish put on quite a show.

Marvin Heerland was a vital contributor to the 7-4 Northwest Territory victory over Plattsburgh. The Beavers shortstop went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs. The first-place Beavers improved to 24-8.

Heerland had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Christian Sandoval, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Beavers a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Heerland.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Heerland.
