Liberty U-21 fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Shady Side Zoomies could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Enrique Galván into a win. Instead, the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 prevailed, 2-1. Galván threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Philadelphia pitcher Denis Teissier earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Humphrey Weegerink suffered the loss.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Philadelphia. That's when Juan Mercado hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Humphrey Weegerink to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I was a little disappointed," said Shady Side manager Joey Trifone. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

The win lifted the Philadelphia record to 19-15.
