Beavers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rhinos
Redwood got a terrific performance from pitcher Peter Harris, but it wasn't enough to beat the Northwest Territory Beavers. Northwest Territory won the Beaver Town contest, 2-1. Harris threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The Beavers raised their record to 12-22.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Northwest Territory pinch hitter Marc Knapp, facing Bob Morton, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Beavers the 2-1 win.

"It feels good to get this one," Knapp told the Northwest Territory Chronicle.
