Crowley shortstop Matt Lahtinen was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hicksville beat the Cajuns, 4-3. Juliano Chianca got credit for the save for Hicksville. It was his 6th of the year. Hicksville has a record of 17-17, placing them 6th in the Premier Low A.

Hicksville used the clutch hitting of Dylan McKinney to snag the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hounds ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," McKinney told the Hicksville Observer.
