Memphis Music starter Steve Allen turned in a top-notch performance against the Tijuana Toros at The Stage in Memphis. The result was a win for the Music, 4-2. Picking up the save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Yuri Werkman. The wins continue to add up for Memphis. The latest makes it 8 in a row.

Miguel García had a big 2-run double for the Music in the bottom of the second inning. With Memphis trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from Charles Bailey, who is tied for 7th in the PA- with a 1.05 WHIP, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Music ahead, 2-1.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," García said.
