Redwood took on Amarillo in front of a lively crowd.

Redwood catcher Jung Chan-sung had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Amarillo Warheads, 8-4. Picking up the win was Christos Waddington. He went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits. The right--hander struck out 2 and walked 2.

With Redwood leading 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Gu Yang hit a run-scoring single off Amarillo pitcher José Escamilla. It put the Rhinos ahead 5-2.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Robby Long said.

Amarillo's current losing streak is now 4 games.
