Hudsonville turned a fine outing from starter Vic Halliwell into a victory over the Fort Knox Centennial at Ballpark of Baxter. The final score was 5-2. Cristóbal González got credit for the save for Hudsonville. It was his 11th of the year. The Flanderses, at 22-14, have now won 5 straight.

Hudsonville used a well-timed hit by Adam Paynter to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Flanderses ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it was important.
