Toros Lose, 5-2; No End to Nosedive
The Crowley Cajuns trumped the Tijuana Toros, 5-2, at Toros Ballpark. Crowley third baseman Neil Delzoppo was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Phil McKinley got the save, the 5th for him this season. The losses continue to mount for Tijuana, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

Momentum swung to the Cajuns in the top of the fifth, when Delzoppo hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Cajuns into the lead, 4-0.

"We're not winning games right now," said Tijuana manager . "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."
