In a low-scoring tilt between the Hudsonville Flanderses and the Northwest Territory Beavers, José Morales, who leads the PA- in wins with 6, was the difference-maker. The Hudsonville right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Morales. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Damon Bunce. The win for the Flanderses lifted their record to 24-14.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Flanderses had to cash in when they had the chance.
