The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Hughesville, topping the Philadelphia Liberty U-21, 3-2. On the mound for Tulsa was right-hander Mitch Brooks. He played a principal role in the triumph. Bill Young was credited with the save for Tulsa, his 15th of the season. With the victory, the Otters upped their record to 21-19.

Shortstop Bryan Bly made an impact for Tulsa, when he swatted a 2-run double off Gil Chapman in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Bly went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Tulsa manager Bob Grzelak.
